Clay County, Ky. Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston and Deputy Wes Brumley arrested two subjects on Muncy Fork Road on January 11, 2019 at approximately 12:15 AM.
Arrested was:
The driver, Patrick Weston age 22 of CBS Road
A passenger, Jessica Freeman age 33 of North Highway 421.
The arrests occurred 10 Miles North of Manchester on Muncy Fork Road.
While providing extra patrol in the area Deputy Houston noticed a red in color Chevrolet truck coming out of Muncy Fork Road, the vehicle came to an abrupt stop and turned into someone’s yard.
Once contact was made with the driver, he seemed nervous and had red glossy eyes. When the driver was asked to perform all standard field sobriety tests, the driver failed.
Patrick Weston was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, No Insurance 1st Offense, No operators/moped license and Failure to wear seatbelt.
The passenger of the truck Jessica Freeman was also arrested and charged with Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance excludes alcohol.
