Arrests in Manchester following complaint to MPD Officer

Manchester, Ky. - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: On Friday January 11,2019 MPD Det. Gary Jordan received a complaint of subjects in a Volkswagen Beetle parked in the parking lot of CMR, possibly using drugs.

The vehicle left the parking lot but was located making an illegal left turn from Old US 421 onto the four lane.

Det. Jordan performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and after the driver consented to a search of the vehicle, officers located a substance believed to be Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia and Marijuana.

Those charged were:

Jimmy Maxie and Larry Maxie.

Det. Jordan was assisted at the scene by Sheriff Patrick Robinson, Deputy Dewey Grubb, KSP Trooper Don Trosper and MPD Officer Jeremy Garrison.
