Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, deputies, detectives and staff had a busy, active year in 2018.

 There was a total of 24,567 calls for service. This total reflects an increase of 2,713 more calls for service than last year. Attached is a listing of the more significant calls for service:

Disturbance complaints- including (prowlers, noise, shooting guns, refusal to leave, disputes, and harassment—3,035

Traffic complaints-including (Dui, road rage, reckless driving)—1, 354
