London, KY - On December 28, 2018 Laurel County Sheriff John Root, deputies and staff were sworn in by Laurel District Judge John Chappell at the London Civic Center.
Sheriff John Root (3rd from left in left photo) will begin his third straight term as Laurel County's Sheriff.
Sheriff Root stated: "It is an honor to serve the citizens of Laurel County again" and pledged that he will continue the "War on Drugs" in Laurel County that he began in 2011".
