Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Joey Robinson along with Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Josh Morgan, Deputy Travis Napier, and CSO Sean Hayre arrested an individual off Little Arthur Ridge Road on Tuesday night December 18, 2018 at approximately 6:55 PM.
Arrested was Donald Johnson age 30 of Slate Lick Road, London.
The arrest occurred off Little Arthur Ridge Road approximately 7 miles north of London while deputies were investigating a drug complaint there. While questioning this individual and conducting an investigation, this individual gave deputies false information on his identification.
In addition, this subject was determined to be under the influence and had an outstanding bench warrant.
Donald Johnson was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; giving officer false identifying information. In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of public intoxication – controlled substances; contempt of court.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
