Two arrested at disturbance complaint in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Taylor McDaniel, along with Deputy Joey Robinson, Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Sgt. Brett Reeves, Detective Gary Mehler, and Detective Kyle Gray arrested two individuals off Marydell Road, approximately 9 miles east of London on Friday afternoon December 7, 2018 at approximately 12:11 PM.

The arrests occurred while deputies were investigating a disturbance complaint there and located two individuals who had outstanding warrants.

The two arrested were identified as:

Tommy North age 38 of Slate Ridge Church Rd., Lily, charged on a Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; failure of owner to maintain required insurance.

Kristie Hood age 36 of London, charged on a Clay County District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on a traffic violation.

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
