Outstanding bench warrants land 2 subjects behind bars during investigation / Laurel County

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Keith Dinsmore along with Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested two individuals on Thursday night December 6, 2018 at approximately 7:17 PM.

The arrests occurred off Villagewood Court, approximately 6 miles South of London while deputies were assisting on a referral with social services when they located two subjects there with outstanding bench warrants.

A female subject located there was found in possession of a baggie containing a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine along with a glass pipe with a white substance in it used to smoke meth.

The two arrested individuals were identified as:

  • Angela Lovell age 42 of London charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, the subject was charged on a Mason District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of hindering prosecution or apprehension – second-degree.
  • David L. Crenshaw age 57 of London charged on a Laurel District Court warrant of arrest charging unauthorized use of a motor vehicle – first offense.
  • These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
