Three arrested off Sasser School Road in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards along with Detective Gary Mehler arrested three individuals while conducting a drug investigation off Sasser School Road approximately 1 mile east of London on Monday afternoon December 3, 2018 at approximately 3:26 PM.

The arrests occurred after detectives found a quantity of methamphetamine, a glass pipe, a straw, needles, and prescription pills in a plastic baggie. Also two individuals found there had outstanding bench warrants of arrest.

The three arrested were identified as:

  • Brian Rarrieck age 46 of Sasser School Rd., London, charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense. In addition, this subject was wanted on a Bell District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court.
  • Rhonda R. Rarrieck age 44 of Sasser School Rd., London, charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence; possession of a controlled substance – third-degree. Also, this subject was charged on a Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of driving on DUI suspended license – first offense and other violations.
  • Tammy Carol Brummett age 41 of Winchester Ave., Middlesboro, KY, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
