Receiving Stolen Property arrests / Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Jake Miller along with Deputy Robert Reed, and Deputy Josh Morgan arrested four individuals on Friday afternoon Nov. 23, 2018 at approx. 3:16 P.M.

The arrests occurred off Newland Road approximately 8 miles southwest of London after deputies developed information on the whereabouts of a reported stolen vehicle and found these four individuals in possession of a 2000 Jeep that had been reported stolen from Yaden’s Auto Sales.

In addition, the Jeep was found with a license plate on it that belonged to another vehicle that allegedly had been placed there off another vehicle there.

The 4 arrested individuals were identified as:

Anthony Powers age 31 of Newland Dr., London charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and tampering with physical evidence.

Robin Gray age 34 of Indian Creek Rd., Corbin charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and tampering with physical evidence.

Walter Powers age 20 of Newland Rd., Corbin charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and tampering with physical evidence.

Jamie Hoskins age 26 of Laurel River Church Rd., Corbin charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and tampering with physical evidence.

These four individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
