Warrant arrest & possession arrest following traffic stop - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner arrested two individuals on Saturday night November 17, 2018 at approximately 8:07 PM.\

The arrests occurred on Litton Town road near the intersection of Arthur Ridge Road approximately 5 miles north of London after Deputy Turner conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford F-150.

During the traffic stop the driver gave Deputy Turner several false names and stated he could not remember his Social Security number.

It was determined that he had outstanding warrants of arrest and was identified as:

Roger Hayes age 30 of Farris Jones Rd., East Bernstadt, charged with giving officer false identifying information. In addition, this subject was wanted on an outstanding Jackson County District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on numerous violations. In addition, this subject was charged on a second Jackson County District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on child support.

During the traffic stop Deputy Turner also located the passenger in possession of a large quantity of Pseudoephedrine, Aluminum foil, and a Rubber hose -All believed to be methamphetamine precursors.

The passenger was identified as:

Brian Roaden age 38 of Farris Jones Rd., East Bernstadt, charged with unlawful possession of meth precursor – first offense.

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
