Three arrests in Laurel County following "Suspicious Vehicle" complaint

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner arrested 3 individuals on Friday afternoon November 2, 2018 at approximately 12:50 PM off Ky. 192 just west of London in a business parking lot after being dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle there in the business parking lot (a white colored Chevrolet Cavalier).

Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Turner located three individuals: One that was determined to be under the influence and in possession of drug paraphernalia along with an open container, one individual that created a disturbance during the investigation, and one individual that was determined to be under the influence, in possession of drug paraphernalia and gave false identifying information to Deputy Turner.

The three arrested individuals were identified as:

1Emanuel Hoskins age 44 of Corbin charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited.
  • 2Judy Hoskins age 62 of London charged with:

  • disorderly conduct – second-degree.
  • 3.  Tiffany Whitehead age 40 of VanZant Road, Lily charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of open help alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited
  • Giving officer false identifying information
  • Disorderly conduct – second-degree
  • Possession of marijuana.
  • In addition:

    This subject was wanted on numerous outstanding warrants including:

  • A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest regarding being discharged against medical advice from Mountain center of recovery and hope regarding charges of possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense
  • Theft of motor vehicle registration plate
  • Receiving stolen property $10,000 or more
  • In addition:

    This subject was charged on a Knox District Court warrant of arrest charging unauthorized use of a motor vehicle – first offense

    In addition:

    This subject was charged on a Whitley Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging:

  • Failure to appear in court on charges of two counts of forgery second-degree
  • Two counts of theft of identity of another without consent
  • Two counts of theft by deception – cold checks
  • Persistent felony offender; shock probation in felony convictions.
  • These three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
