Clay County, KY - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that Curry Branch Road (CR 1263) in Clay County will be closed beginning Sunday, November 4 at 7 A.M., and is expected to re-open Wednesday, November 14.
The road closure is necessary to allow contractors to construct the grade to the new bridge. Motorists will need to use Crawfish Road (CR 1264) as an alternate route.
Message boards will be placed on KY 80 to notify motorists of the closure, and signs will be placed on Curry Branch Road to notify local traffic.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect long delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
