Dressen, Ky. (October 29, 2018) - On October 28, 2018 at approximately 9:11 P.M. Kentucky State Police, Post 10, Harlan received a 911 call of a robbery at Buddies Discount Tobacco in the Dressen community of Harlan County.
Trooper Brandon Burton and Tpr. Jake Spurlock responded to the scene and began an investigation.
During the investigation, troopers were able to collect information and evidence at the scene.
Tpr. Burton arrested Jason Haynes, (37) of Baxter and charged him with robbery 1st degree and criminal littering. Mr. Haynes was lodged into the Harlan County Detention Center.
KSP were assisted with the investigation by Harlan Police Department, Harlan Sheriff’s Office, Lynch Police Department and Evarts Police Department.
Trooper Brandon Burton is continuing the investigation.
