Two arrests in Laurel County during Drug Investigation

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Bryon Lawson along with Major Chuck Johnson and Sgt. Robbie Grimes arrested two individuals on Wednesday afternoon October 17, 2018 at approximately 4:21 PM.

The arrests occurred off Lily School Road approximately 8 miles South of London while the Sheriff’s office was conducting a drug investigation in that area and located two individuals in a passenger vehicle found in possession of a white substance believed to be methamphetamine. The two individuals arrested were identified as:

  • Sidney R. Sizemore age 51 of Blake Dr., London charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine.
  • Shawna J. Davis age 34 of Blake Dr., London charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine.
  • These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
