Arrest Following a Two Vehicle Injury Crash on Hal Rogers Parkway

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Shannon Jones along with Deputy Josh Morgan and CSO Chris Blaylock investigated a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on Hal Rogers Parkway approximately 10 miles west of London early Saturday morning October 13, 2018 at approximately 3:16 AM.

Investigating deputies report that apparently a maroon colored Dodge Ram pickup traveling westbound on Hal Rogers Parkway struck an East bound gray colored Chrysler 200 series.

The driver of the maroon colored pickup was identified as:

Keith D. Jones age 28 of London – transported to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries. Afterwards, the driver was charged with driving on a DUI suspended license – second offense. In addition, this subject was charged on a Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence; operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license.  This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.

The driver of the gray colored Chrysler was identified as:

Travis E. Frye age 38 of Corbin transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of possible injuries.

Assisting at the scene of the crash was Swiss Colony Volunteer fire department, London Laurel Rescue squad, and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County.
