Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Sgt. Robbie Grimes along with Deputy Jake Miller, Deputy Travis Napier and CSO Sean Hayre arrested Brian R. Couch age 36 of Stinnett, Kentucky on Thursday not October 11, 2018 at approximately 9:01 PM.
The arrest occurred off Shannon Square approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that this subject had allegedly been arguing with a female victim there and had allegedly choked her.
When deputies made contact with the suspect, he became combative and following a short scuffle with deputies was taken into custody. This subject was determined to be under the influence.
Brian Couch was charged with assault – 4th degree -domestic violence; resisting arrest; menacing; public intoxication – controlled substances.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
