PARKSVILLE, Ky. (September 24, 2018) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is investigating a fire that claimed the life of three people in Boyle County on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
KSP Post 7 was called at approximately 5:45 am on Saturday morning in reference to a residential fire on Mitchellsburg Knob Road where three bodies were discovered by members of the fire department. The initial investigation indicates that Haley Stratton, 24 years old of Parksville, KY, her 10 month old son, and 12 year old sister were found deceased in the upstairs portion of the residence, and died as a result of the fire. The ongoing investigation indicates that the fire started inside the attached garage, before spreading to the residence. The cause of the fire is still under investigation
The investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detectives. They were assisted at the scene by the Boyle County Fire Department, Boyle County Sheriff’s Office, and the Boyle County Coroner.
