Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Taylor McDaniel along with Deputy Jake Miller arrested Elzie Overbay age 49 of Garrett, Ky on Wednesday night September 12, 2018 at approximately 10:08 PM.
The arrest occurred off Byble Road, approximately 8 miles South of London while deputies were conducting an investigation and encountered this subject who was found in possession of a .380 caliber handgun and was determined to be a convicted felon.
Elzie Overbay was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
