Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Sgt. Robbie Grimes is investigating a single vehicle serious injury traffic crash involving a motorcycle which occurred on KY 30 approximately 8 miles northeast of London on Monday evening September 3, 2018 at approximately 5:15 PM.
Sgt. Grimes reports that apparently a motorcycle traveling northbound ran off the roadway due to unknown circumstances causing serious injuries to the driver.
The driver was identified as Dane Wilson McGraw age 44 of Salyersville, KY treated at the scene by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County and airlifted by PHI Helicopter to UK Medical Center with serious injuries.
Assisting at the scene was McWhorter Volunteer fire department, London Laurel rescue squad, Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, and PHI Helicopter.
