Police in Laurel Co.make arrest & recover weapon after Road Rage incident

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Gary Mehler along with Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Deputy Travis Napier, and Deputy Jake Miller arrested Seth Isaak Eversole age 20 of Woodbine, Ky early Thursday morning August 23, 2018 at approximately 12:36 AM.

The arrest occurred off Ky Highway 6 approximately 3 miles east of Woodbine following an investigation conducted by the Laurel County Sheriff's office after deputies investigated a complaint that a pickup truck occupied by a driver and one passenger had allegedly been shot into as the vehicle traveled eastbound on Hal Rogers Parkway toward London from Hawk Creek Road in western Laurel.

Deputies and detectives located a bullethole in the passenger door, the tailgate, and a tire that had been shot out during an apparent road rage incident.

Information was developed on a possible suspect vehicle – a gray colored Toyota Scion and a suspect who lived in neighboring Whitley County at Woodbine.

Laurel Sheriff's office detectives and deputies traveled to that location interviewing the suspect and learning from the suspect that he had allegedly shot at the pickup truck numerous times following an earlier argument with the victim that resulted in three total vehicles being involved in the road rage with allegedly another vehicle receiving vehicle contact during the whole incident.

Seth Eversole was charged with two counts of wanton endangerment – first-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
