Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Travis Napier along with Deputy Brad Mink and Deputy Taylor McDaniel investigated a single vehicle traffic crash which occurred on Grimes Road approximately 1 mile west of London on Tuesday afternoon August 21, 2018 at approximately 2:23 PM.
Investigating deputies report that apparently a vehicle driven by Melinda Burns age 47 of London ran off the roadway and overturned reportedly catching on fire.
The driver Melinda Burns and a passenger, Carter Nolan age 40 of London both received minor injuries.
Assisting at the scene of the crash was Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rescue Squad, East Bernstadt Volunteer Fire department, and Brian Lewis, KSP arson investigator.
