Laurel, County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Rick Cloyd investigated a single vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on Ky 472 approximately 4 miles east of London on Saturday afternoon August 18, 2018 at approximately 1:48 PM.
The investigating deputy reports that apparently a Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound on Ky 472 when the driver lost control in a curve on a wet roadway, traveled off the roadway overturning onto its top.
The driver was identified as Dorothy R. Collier age 78 of London and a passenger Charles C. Dixon age 36 of London, both injured and transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of injuries.
Assisting at the scene of the crash was Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rescue Squad, Laurel County Fire Department, and Laurel County Emergency Management director Justin Noe.
