Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Josh Morgan arrested two individuals on Saturday night July 21, 2018 at approximately 10:02 PM.
The arrests occurred on Slate Ridge Road approximately 6 miles south of London after Deputy Morgan observed a female subject laying in the ditch there and found a male subject trying to pick her up out of the ditch.
An investigation was conducted on the two individuals who were both determined to be under the influence.
Arrested was Maxwell Watson age 40 and Christy Watson age 36 both of Somerset -both charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
