LONDON, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Kyle Gray along with Sheriff John Root, Deputy Daniel Grigsby, and Detective James Sizemore arrested Dania Taiki Harrison age 41 of East Bernstadt on Monday afternoon July 16, 2018 at approximately 3:18 PM.
The arrest occurred in London after the Laurel County Sheriff's office conducted an investigation into the theft of a safe containing cash and jewelry that was apparently stolen from a residence off Carson Lane approximately 6 miles north of London earlier in the day.
This individual was charged with theft by unlawful taking $10,000 or more but under $1 million.
During the investigation this individual admitted being present while the theft occurred but later said she had lied about the information she provided.
This individual was also charged with false swearing.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
