Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Rick Cloyd investigated a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred on US 25 approximately 2/10 mile north of London on Saturday evening July 7, 2018 at approximately 5:05 PM.
The investigating deputy reports that apparently a Jeep traveling southbound on US 25 struck an F-250 truck in the rear that was apparently stopped to turn..
Both vehicles came to rest near the point of impact.
The driver of the Jeep was identified as Halie J. Dooley age 20 of East Bernstadt – transported by private vehicle to seek medical treatment.
The driver of the F-250 truck was identified as Craig C. Smith age 44 of London – transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of injuries.
Assisting at the scene was: Laurel Sheriff's CSO John Dyche, Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County and East Bernstadt Volunteer Fire Department.
