The crash happened shortly before 8:00 AM on Curry Branch Road and Police are now on the lookout for an individual that fled the scene in what witnesses describe as a damaged light colored late model Buick SUV.

According to one witness, the vehicle was traveling very fast when the driver lost control in a slight curve and it then left the road and rolled over twice, nearly going through a fence towards an occupied home before coming to rest right side up back in the roadway.

The driver then managed to get the vehicle going again and sped away leaving behind a detached remote controlled mirror, a Buick emblem & several other items that were ejected during the crash.

A person that heard the vehicle leave said it was making a very loud "clunking" sound.
