London, Ky. (June 21, 2018) – On Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at approximately 1:50 PM, KSP Troopers located and arrested Larry D. Hensley, 52, of London at a residence on Village Street in Laurel County.
Hensley has been the subject of a 6-month long investigation after Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a call in January 2018 to check on his mother’s welfare. Lue F. Hensley, 81, of London was located in her residence on Rocky Branch Road in poor physical condition. She was transported to Saint Joseph Hospital where she received treatment for her injuries.
In March of 2018 Trooper Chris Saunders was notified that Lue Hensley had died as a result of her injuries due to Care taker neglect.
Larry D. Hensley was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center and charged with, Murder and Knowingly Abuse/Neglect of Adult by Person.
Trooper Saunders is continuing the investigation.
