Arrests at complaint on US 25 south

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Kyle Gray along with Bailiff Roy Ball and Bailiff Jacklyn Johnson arrested two individuals on Monday morning June 18, 2018 at approximately 11:10 AM.

The arrests occurred on US 25 approximately 7 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a vehicle parked improperly at a business there.

When deputies arrived at the scene they located a red Nissan Altima and conducted an investigation on its two occupants who were both determined to be under the influence.

In addition a needle, digital scales, and small baggies were located in their possession. The two individuals admitted using methamphetamine earlier.

Arrested was the driver: Jessica Rae Terry age 36 of Williamsburg charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; operating on suspended or revoked operators license; failure to wear seatbelts; and numerous other violations.

Also arrested was the passenger identified as: Scott Arnold Davis age 36 of Corbin charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; failure to wear seatbelts; and permitting unlicensed operator to operate a motor vehicle.

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
