WAYNESBURG, KY – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was called by the Lincoln County Sheriff just after 1:00 A.M. Tuesday morning, in reference to possible human remains that were located in a rural area of Lincoln County off of Ike Singleton Road.
KSP Post 7 Troopers responded to the area, and helped locate the human remains just before 2:00 A.M.. The decomposed body was removed by the Lincoln County Coroner, and taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy. The identity and cause of death are unknown at this time.
