Update and Arrest to the Missing Juvenile Investigation / Wayne County

London, Ky.  – On Thursday, March 15, 2018 at approximately 7:40 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a call about a missing Juvenile from the Monticello community of Wayne County.

Upon arrival, Trooper Richie Baxter learned Amabel Felix, 15, of Monticello was last seen at her foster home on Wednesday evening March 14, 2018 at approximately 10:30 PM.

Upon further investigation, Trooper Baxter learned the juvenile left her residence sometime during the night and may possibly be in the company with Daniel P. York, 50, of Florida. Trooper Baxter also learned that York is possibly driving a white Mitsubishi Outlander and may possibly be on his way to Florida or California.

Amabel Felix is described as a black female with black hair 5 feet 3 inches tall.

Daniel York is described as a white male with gray hair.

KSP is asking anyone with any information to contact Post 11 at 606-878-6622 or 1-800-222-5555.

Trooper Baxter is continuing the investigation. He is being assisted by the Post 11 Investigative Division.

*UPDATE*


On Thursday, May 31, 2018 at approximately 5:30 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a tip to the whereabouts of Daniel P. York. The tip led Detectives to a residence located on KY HWY 461 in Pulaski County. A search warrant was obtained for the residence. Upon executing the search warrant, Detectives located the missing juvenile Amabel Felix unharmed. Also inside the residence detectives discovered six cultivated marijuana plants along with suspected processed marijuana.

Daniel York was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center in reference to an outstanding arrest warrant. He was also charged with Cultivate in Marijuana (5 plants or more) 1st Offense and Possession of Marijuana.

KSP Detective Eric Moore is continuing the investigation.
