The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that KY 2440 (Cool Springs Road) in Clay County will be closed beginning Tuesday, April 3 at 8 a.m. until Thursday, April 5 at 6 p.m.
The road closure is necessary to allow contractors to perform roadway excavation on Cool Springs Road. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
