KSP Charges Christian Co. Man With Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses

OAK GROVE, Ky. (March 9, 2018) — On March 6, 2018, at approximately 8:06 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Gene K. Bosley, 50, on charges related to distribution and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Bosley was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering Bosley sharing files of child sexual exploitation online.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Oak Grove on March 6, 2018. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

Bosley is currently charged with three counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, 85 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree / 1st offense, methamphetamine. Each charge is a Class-D felony punishable by one to five years in prison.

He was lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.
