Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Brad Mink along with Deputy Bryon Lawson and Lieut. Greg Poynter arrested James Nicholson age 49 of London on Friday afternoon February 16, 2018 at approximately 12:59 PM.
The arrest occurred off Sinking Creek Road approximately 5 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies conducted an investigation and learned that this subject had allegedly hit a female subject in the face and had pulled her hair.
Deputies located the suspect exiting the back of the residence and arrested the suspect without incident. James Nicholson was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
