DUI arrest at Sheriff's Office in London

London, KY - Laurel Sheriff's John Root along with Detective Kyle Gray, Capt. Chuck Johnson, Lieut. Greg Poynter, and Sgt. Robbie Grimes arrested Jo Michelle Floyd age 47 of London on Wednesday afternoon January 31, 2018 at approximately 4:17 PM.

The arrest occurred off Broad Street at the Laurel County Sheriff's office after this individual drove a gold colored Ford Fusion to London and created a disturbance with office staff at the Sheriff's office.

An investigation was conducted on the driver who was determined to be under the influence. In addition, it was determined that the driver had a juvenile and another individual in the vehicle.

The driver admitted taking Suboxone and Ativan and other pills that she could not remember.

Jo Michelle Floyd was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; wanton endangerment – second degree; failure to produce insurance card; and failure to wear seatbelts and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

The juvenile in the vehicle was released to other family by Social Services.
