A male subject possessed a large amount of counterfeit currency.
A female subject had outstanding bench warrants of arrest.
Laurel County Sheriff John Root along with detectives and deputies arrested two individuals off Rader Ridge Road, approximately 3 miles north of London while conducting a drug investigation there on Friday morning December 8, 2017 at approximately 11:52 AM.
Two subjects were located there --- one of the subjects there was found with 48 counterfeit $100 bills. This subject would not provide any information about himself and stated that he would make bond and go back to Detroit and not be back. Also a female subject located there had two outstanding bench warrants of arrest.
They were identified as:
• A male subject listed as John doe who refused to provide his name and possessed a large amount of counterfeit currency – charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument first-degree; giving officer false identifying information; disorderly conduct – second-degree; and resisting arrest.
• Edna Mae McQueen age 24 of Rader Ridge Rd., London charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of possession of a controlled substance – second-degree. In addition, this subject was charged on second Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense.
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Sheriff John Root stated that investigations will be continuing.
