Seven arrests in Laurel County as Sheriff John Root's "War on Drugs" continues

Laurel County, KY - Laurel Sheriff John Root, Laurel Sheriff's Detective James Sizemore, Detective Jason Back and oter detectives and deputies arrested 7 individuals on drug charges off Old Ky. 30, 4 miles north  of London (near East Bernstadt) on Wednesday evening November 29th, 2017 at approximately 6:20 PM.

The arrests occurred while the Sheriff's office was conducting a drug investigation there, and a search warrant was executed where deputies located several bags of suspected crystal meth, scales, needles, glass pipes, ziploc bags, and drug.

Also possible stolen property was found.

Those arrested included:

Timothy Jarvis age 51 of Highway 3094, East Bernstadt charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree first offense methamphetamine; engaging in organized crime; possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, the subject was charged on a Laurel district court warrant of arrest charging receiving stolen property under $500.

Joyce Liford age 45 of Highway 3094, East Bernstadt charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia

Russell Ray Vaughn age 36 of McCarty Lane, London charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree first offense methamphetamine; engaging in organized crime; possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jr. Brock age 33 of Highway 3094 East Bernstadt charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree first offense methamphetamine; engaging in organized crime; possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ronnie Ray Colwell age 44 of John R Jones Road, London charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree first offense methamphetamine; engaging in organized crime; possession of drug paraphernalia.

David A. Gibson age 28 of Star Hill Road, East Bernstadt charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree first offense methamphetamine; engaging in organized crime; possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crystal Rae Neeley age 47 Of Nancy Road, London charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree first offense methamphetamine; engaging in organized crime; possession of drug paraphernalia.

All 7 individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Sheriff John Root stated that the "War on Drugs" will be continuing!
