WCSD Press Release | Dec 10, 2016 - PLEASE NOTE: The “Face Value” rate for property tax payments will be honored through January 3, 2017. Beginning the next day, Jan. 4, a 5% penalty will be added.
The 5% penalty period continues from Jan. 4 through Jan. 31.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the holidays, the sheriff’s office in the courthouse will be closed December 23, 26 and 30. The sheriff’s office will also be closed Jan. 2, 2017. The closures only effect office activities; law enforcement services will continue. To speak with a deputy, contact Whitley Co. E911 at (606) 549-6017, and in case of emergency always dial 911.
