Two arrested for Wanton Endangerment / Laurel County

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Kyle Gray along with Deputy Travis Napier and Deputy Robert Reed arrested two individuals off Long branch Road, approximately 8 miles east of London on Friday night May 24, 2019 at approximately 6:03 PM.

 

The arrests occurred while deputies were assisting social services on a referral complaint there. Deputies found two adults there with four juvenile children and determined that the two adults were under the influence. The two arrested individuals were identified as:

Mary Katherine Creech age 29 of Long Branch Rd., London charged with intoxication – controlled substances; four counts of wanton endangerment – second-degree. This subject admitted she smoked methamphetamine and took hydrocodone the day before at the residence where four juvenile children are also located.

Joseph A. Creech age 36 of Long Branch Rd., London charged with public intoxication – controlled substances and 4 counts of wanton endangerment – second-degree. – This subject admitted drinking alcoholic beverages and taking unprescribed medicine and was determined to be under the influence.

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Also assisting at the scene was social services, and Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County.

The children were placed with other family members.
