Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Rick Cloyd along with Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Deputy Travis Napier, Detective Kyle Gray, and Deputy Joey Robinson arrested Kenneth Wayne Sonner age 26 of London on Friday night May 17, 2019 at approximately 5:45 P.M.
The arrest occurred off Fire Station Rd., approximately 2 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Deputies learned while enroute to the scene that there had been a neighbor dispute and that at least one subject had been drinking and retrieved a pistol from his residence.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that allegedly there had been a dispute there.
Deputies learned that this subject had been drinking when he walked to the neighbors armed with a gun.
This individual was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place; disorderly conduct – second-degree.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
