WHITLEY CITY, KY – The Kentucky State Police, London Post is investigating a shooting incident that took place on Claude Bryant Road in McCreary County on October 7, 2021 at approximately 8:43 PM.

October 9, 2021 - The Indiana State Police is now accepting applications for Motor Carrier Inspectors (MCI).  The MCI positions will staff permanent scale facilities in Lowell, West Harrison, Terre Haute, Richmond, and Seymour.  Inspectors enforce both state and federal regulations pertaining to commercial motor vehicles operating within the State of Indiana.

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Miranda J. Jones age 39 of Manchester early Thursday morning October 7, 2021 at approximately 1:57 AM.

LONDON, KY (October 8, 2021) - According to a homeowner in London, his wife had called him during his work on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 7:30 P.M. to let him know that Harold Frye, the father of two of their grandchildren was in the house, the husband then spoke with Frye on the phone and was informed by Frye that he was waiting there on their daughter. 

Sheriff's detectives on scene executing search warrants 

LONDON, KY - Laurel Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's investigators executed multiple search warrants for evidence at two residences belonging to murder victim Bryan McCarty off Maple Grove Road, approximately 5 miles west of London on Thursday evening October 7, 2021 after information was developed by Sheriff's investigators.
