Jessamine, KY (October 22, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police have been requested by the Nicholasville Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred on October 22, 2022, just before 1:30 P.M. in Jessamine County.

FRANKFORT, KY — The U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that a Lexington, Ky., man, Michael Allen Comberger, 57, was sentenced on Thursday to 60 months in federal prison, by U.S. District Judge Gregory VanTatenhove, for transporting an individual in interstate commerce with the intent to engage in prostitution.

Polk County, FL - Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is announcing that detectives with the Central Florida HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) task force, working together with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, conducted an undercover fentanyl drug trafficking investigation that resulted in three suspects being arrested, and the largest seizure of fentanyl in the history of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO). The fentanyl was being manufactured in Mexico and sent into the United States to be made into synthetic pills and sold on the streets.

FRANKFORT, KY – Governor Andy Beshear, during his Team Kentucky update yesterday, announced that crews in Eastern Kentucky will soon conclude flood debris collections from state and county rights of way and designated community drop-off sites following substantial progress over the past two months to retrieve eligible residential debris along roadsides.
