LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that a missing 17 year-old juvenile has been located and is safe.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, TN – According to TBI, a multi-agency investigation by special agents with the Drug Investigation Division of the Nashville Bureau of Investigation, agents with HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of two people and the seizure of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Fentanyl, and Firearms.

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that a Frankfort man, Richard Benson, 49, was sentenced on Tuesday, to 280 months in federal prison, by U.S. District Court Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, following his conviction for receipt of child pornography.  Benson faced an enhanced penalty because he was previously convicted of a qualifying sexual offense involving a minor.

JACKSON COUNTY, TN – An investigation by special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and other agencies into a paddling incident that happened in October at a Jackson County school has resulted in the indictment of a teacher and assistant principal.
