LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that a missing 17 year-old juvenile has been located and is safe.

Franklin County, Kentucky Man Sentenced to 280 Months for the Receipt of Child Pornography

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that a Frankfort man, Richard Benson, 49, was sentenced on Tuesday, to 280 months in federal prison, by U.S. District Court Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, following his conviction for receipt of child pornography.  Benson faced an enhanced penalty because he was previously convicted of a qualifying sexual offense involving a minor.

Teacher, Assistant Principal Charged Following Investigation into Paddling Incident at a School in Jackson County, Tennessee

JACKSON COUNTY, TN – An investigation by special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and other agencies into a paddling incident that happened in October at a Jackson County school has resulted in the indictment of a teacher and assistant principal.
