LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Greg Poynter along with Deputy Hunter Disney arrested Logan Martin age 25 of Moriah Church Rd., London on Saturday morning February 11, 2023 at approximately 9:50 AM.
The arrest occurred off John R Jones Road approximately 5 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to an alleged break-in complaint.
Deputies learned while enroute that allegedly the suspect had forced the victim’s garage open and entered without permission.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they observed the suspect walking away from the garage and gave the suspect commands which he refused to obey.
Following a brief scuffle with deputies the suspect was taken into custody.
Logan Martin was charged with:
- Burglary – third-degree
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Resisting arrest
- Menacing
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
