(Totz, Ky.) – Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan received a call of a fatal collision at approximately 05:00 a.m. in the Totz community of Harlan County.

Preliminary investigation indicates Billy R. Halcomb, 62, of Totz was operating an ATV west on Totz Alley Road when he struck a fence causing the ATV to overturn, ejecting Mr. Halcomb.

The ATV then landed on top of Mr. Halcomb.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Harlan County Deputy Coroner Jim Bush.

Investigation into the collision continues by Tpr. Jared Boggs.
