Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, Activity for July 2012
(Richmond, KY) -- Captain Lisa Rudzinski, Post Commander of the Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is reporting the following activity for the month of July, 2012
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,570 citations of which 415 were for speeding and 14 for no child restraint. Troopers issued 225 citations for no seatbelts. 26 individuals were arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 570 courtesy notices, and assisted 119 stranded motorists, while inspecting 2,103 vehicles.
Richmond Post investigated 45 traffic collisions in the month of July.
Detectives and Troopers investigated 1,179 complaints, opened 102 criminal cases, and made 207 criminal arrests.
Troopers also worked 704 special details and conducted 12 educational programs in July.
