Drug arrest / Knox County
Sheriff John D. Pickard reports that Deputy Adam Townsley made an arrest on a female who was allegedly growing marijuana. According to Deputy Townsley’s arrest citation, him along with Deputies Claude Hudson and Keith Liford was responding to a call when they saw what appeared to be a drug transaction take place.
Upon leaving the call they were responding to, the deputies returned back to the location where they saw the alleged drug transaction take place to speak with the subjects about what they had seen.
They spoke with Angela Mills at 3156 Ky 718.
Deputies were given consent to search the residence and found illegal contraband along with (5) Marijuana Plants growing in a wooded area beside the house.
Deputy Townsley is Continuing the Investigation.
Charges: Poss Controlled Substance- 3rd degree, Drug Paraphernalia, Prescription Controlled Substance not in original container and Cultivation of Marijuana 5 plants or less.
