London, Ky. (January 22, 2018) – On Monday, January 22, 2018 at approximately 3:38 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified of a residential structure fire with fatalities on Paw Paw Road in Clay County.
KSP Arson Investigator Brian Lewis along with Detective Jesse Armstrong arrived on the scene and determined through an investigation that both victims: Jessica Duff, 37, and Silina Duff, 42, both of Manchester were located in a bedroom inside the residence deceased.
Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Clay County Coroner’s Office.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Autopsies have been scheduled for tomorrow in Frankfort.
KSP Arson Investigator Brian Lewis is continuing the investigation. He was assisted at the scene by Troopers from Post 11, Manchester Police Department, Clay County Coroner’s Office, Manchester Fire Department, Horse Creek Fire Department and Lockards Creek Fire Department.
