Clay County, KY - Manchester Water is encouraging all customers to conserve as much water as possible over the next several days.
Due to temperatures continuing to drop into single digits over the next few days, it has put a strain on the water distribution system.
Several water storage tanks have reached critically low levels due to water main breaks and high customer usage.
If possible, do not let faucets run during the daytime, repair or turn off any existing leaks as soon as possible.
If you suspect a water main leak please report it to City Hall at 598-3456 or 596-0296 or leave a message here on my page.
Water crews are working to find and repair leaks and using all resources available to avoid service interruptions.
