Laurel County, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Jamie Etherton arrested Destiny Bullard age 21 of Corbin on Tuesday evening December 26, 2017 at approximately 5:04 PM.
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Deputy Etherton was dispatched to a shoplifting complaint there. Upon arrival Deputy Etherton conducted an investigation and learned that this subject had allegedly been observed by Walmart loss prevention team concealing items.
Destiny Bullard was charged with theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500. Total value of the theft was $59.92.
In addition, this subject was charged from a Laurel circuit court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear for drug court regarding charges of theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
