Man requests deputies come to his Laurel County residence so he can turn himself in



Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Josh Scott arrested Jack B. Keener age 28 of East Bernstadt on Saturday afternoon November 18, 2017 at approximately 12:52 PM.

The arrest occurred off Eb Gross Road approximately 5 miles north of London after this subject called the Laurel County Sheriff's office advising that he had an out standing warrant and requested deputies to come to his residence so he could turn himself in.

When Deputy Scott arrived at the scene, this subject was waiting on his front porch.

Jack Keener was charged on a Laurel circuit court indictment warrant of arrest charging fleeing or evading police – first-degree – on foot; wanton endangerment – first-degree; burglary – first-degree; public intoxication – controlled substances; and resisting arrest and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
